Dead Snow (2009)

After one of their group disappears while on a solo cross-country hike, a mysterious local resident (Bjørn Sundquist) tells the remaining visitors that, in the waning days of World War II, a battalion of Nazi soldiers disappeared into the nearby woods after the residents turned on them, and that their zombified corpses remain on the prowl in the area.

Wake Wood (2009)

The rural Irish village of Wake Wood preserves a tradition enabling the dead to be brought back for three days, one year after their death, for a final farewell. But there are rules which grieving newcomers Patrick (Aidan Gillen) and Louise Daly (Eva Birthistle) break. These are the parents of a girl who was killed by a savage dog, who are granted the opportunity to spend three days with their deceased daughter.

Quarantine (2008)

Reporter Angela (Jennifer Carpenter) and her cameraman Scott (Steve Harris) are doing a story on night-shift firefighters for a reality-TV program. A late-night distress call takes them to a Los Angeles apartment building, where the police are investigating a report of horrific screams. The TV team and emergency workers find an old woman, who suddenly attacks with teeth bared. What's more, Angela and company find that the building has been sealed by CDC workers. Then the attacks really begin.

Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)

Captured by the Umbrella Corp., Alice (Milla Jovovich) receives genetic alterations that leave her with superhuman abilities. Hiding out in the Nevada desert, she joins forces with former cohorts Carlos (Oded Fehr) and L.J. (Mike Epps) as well as new survivors Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti) to eradicate the virus that threatens to turn every human on Earth into a zombie.

Diary of the Dead (2007)

If Land of the Dead was the glorious and triumphal return of George A. Romero to the zombie subgenre, Diary of the Dead is its perfect counterpoint: the return to his roots in the form of an independent production (his first in twenty years) and once again with the living dead roaming the Earth in search of fresh flesh. As always, the government moves too late and poorly and a group of film students wind up filming the movie of their lives, without even looking to do so, and while trying to escape from the massacre.

Boy Eats Girl (2005)

A boy declares his love for his girlfriend, only to die the same night. He is brought back to life by his mother as a flesh-craving zombie, who sires more teen undead while trying to control his, er, appetite for his beloved.

Dawn of the Dead (2004)

When her young daughter is turned into a zombie and attacks her father, Ana (Sarah Polley) just manages to escape, only to realize her entire Milwaukee neighborhood has been overrun by the walking dead. After being questioned by cautious policeman Kenneth (Ving Rhames), Ana joins him and a small group that gravitates to the local shopping mall as a bastion of safety. Once they convince suspicious security guards that they are not contaminated, the group bands together to fight the undead hordes.

Better Off Zed (2018)

What if the apocalypse came... and you were happy about it? Logline: A lazy thirty-something is happy to sit out the zombie apocalypse in his fortified suburban abode, until his wife acts on a more pragmatic strategy for survival, forcing him to become the zombie killer he was trying to avoid.
